hi dr.tim and all.i have been finding ancient imagrey on stones here in oregon and have not been able to get anyone to take the discovery seriously.the imagrey closley resembles natural staining...but upom closer examination much more detailed and complex.some photos of this unexpected,never before studied material can be seen on line.i have located thousands of pieces in concentrated sites for 10 years now.the images shown are of an orange glaze on grey basalt and sculpted.i have found a lot of charcoal based art as well.the art is hard to believe at first.i have extensive notes and much more to share....view a few of these stones at ....thank you for being open to new discoveries....i look forward to future dialogue..and certainly hope to show many actual pieces and locations here in oregon to you and other interested partys who can help in the publication of the results of this find....best always...tom in oregon
