I have added this video to the site, not because I agree with everything that is stated, but that I totally agree with the overall message: That academics, especially those that depend on the university grant structures, do tend strongly to repell that which threatens there beliefs, and that which threatens there funding. I personally have observed this first hand, and is the main reason I have twice turned down professorships at universities. Science was at its most dynamic when it is free of financial dictatorship, and mindset limitations. Peer review frequently serves as censorship. We should always go where the evidence takes us, regardless of the implications. This level of honesty is what serves best to debunk the crazies. It is the science that matters, not reputations!
